Beliefs

Statement of Faith

While we hold no formal creedal statement, the following represents our basic beliefs:

We believe there is one God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit who work in perfect unity. (Mt. 3:16-17; 28:19-20)

We believe in the deity of Christ (John 1:1-5) and His physical resurrection from the dead. (1 Cor. 15:1-7)

We believe that Scripture is inspired by God and intended to inform and shape our faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8-10) We believe that this saving faith encompasses repentance and baptism by immersion. (Acts 2:38)

We believe that the Christian’s life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is to be dedicated to the service of God. This includes meeting human needs with practical concern and love (Matt. 25:34-46), dedicated to the principles of Jesus exemplified in His life and teaching, and telling others the story of Jesus. (Matt. 28:18-20)
